n the night, a man and wife bury an unnervingly odd collection of objects in the earth of their back yard. Into the hole go a broken pot, a copper casting of a baby’s foot, tarnished cups, crumbling figurines, worn trinkets of various kinds—and a rusty revolver. All are meant to be forgotten forever. Buried with each item are the memories of fear and doubt and unrelenting strife it foreshadowed: a baby lost before it was found; a despondent young girl from across the sea who never returned home; a marriage threatened; the personal integrity of the man and his wife brought into question by friends and strangers alike.

Whatever became of Tamara Tomorrow? In the early seventies, this local television host, in her antennae and space suit, made cheery predictions of how exciting the future was going to be. Her sudden disappearance from the public eye was one of the great mysteries of the Philadelphia area. Three fans of Tamara, all grown up and disenchanted with the “future” as she predicted, decide to go in search of this “Delaware Valley Greta Garbo.” What they find along the way teaches them more about themselves than they really thought they could know.

Come marvel as three thespians condense the entirety of The Bard’s works into a single evening. Cheer as the Tudor monarchs play football for the crown, salivate while Titus Andronicus hosts a cooking show, and sob as you finally discover why Hamlet is so emo. Originally produced in 1987, The Complete Works was among the first plays to attempt this momentous feat.
