The play is a funny, too-true look at American divorce: Mom hates Dad. Dad hates Mom. Dylan hates everything. In a world where "Dadfare checks," and Gameboy-induced detachment are the norm, the family learns to thrive in its dysfunction. The story takes place on the day before Dylan's high school graduation, where the problems of the previous year come to a head and the family splinters apart then manages to fashion itself into something different - a family that is more concerned with love and support from within than keeping up appearances from without. |
